Yes. The solution offers a customizable front-office before the launch of the marketplace. It is also possible to integrate a template (CMS type) or a front-office created by an agency, for example.

In order to facilitate the use of the solution, 4 interfaces are available :

  • A customer front-office
  • A seller back-office vendeur (one for each seller)
  • An operator back-office (to supervise the marketplace and the sellers back-offices)
  • A professional purchasing back-office with multi-account management

The seller has four tools at his disposal to put products or services on line :

  • Manual creation via the sales back-office
  • Importing flat files of type CSV
  • Connection to flow managers (lengow, shopping-flux, diatly…)
  • Possibility to develop custom connectors (subject to acceptance by the marketplace operator)

This depends on the chosen configuration. Either the operator of the marketplace only, or the operator and sellers. The operator may be the only one to have control over the activation/deactivation of a feature.

The back office is fully customizable with a large number of graphs/tables to display the required KPI’s on the required dates.

It is possible, for example, to generate summary tables of sales statistics (evolution of the average cart, commission, number of orders, etc.), statistics related to salespeople, the catalogue, orders or after-sales service. Thus, each dashboard is customized according to the need felt by the marketplace operator or the seller.

A tripartite messaging service between seller, operator and buyer is natively integrated into Origami.

Exchanges are simplified, thus allowing an effective resolution of disputes, in the form of a ticket:

  • A seller can contact a buyer / operator directly.
  • A buyer can contact a seller / operator directly.

In all cases, the operator is an intermediary in the conversation between buyer and seller, acts as a trusted third party and will mediate in the resolution of a conflict. A seller can contact a customer directly via the order form. A customer can contact a salesperson directly via a product sheet.

The solution is natively designed for international use, offering:

  • Language management on the front-office & back-office
  • Currency management
  • VAT management
  • Multi-currency management (depending on the payment provider selected)

Yes, promotions on an amount and/or in percentage are natively integrated into the solution. It is possible to display the original price crossed out, as well as the discounted price.

Yes, absolutely. Geolocation is an essential tool in the design of a service marketplace, a marketplace dedicated to local commerce or a concierge marketplace, for example.

Yes, a cross-selling solution specific to Origami is available natively. It is possible to link services to it manually or automatically via a tag management. An external recommendation engine may – if necessary – be the subject of a specific development.

The offers can be classified according to different criteria such as distance, quality of the offer, score, price level, reactivity, etc….

In addition, the Origami Marketplace event engine makes it possible to implement new actions, such as deactivating a seller in the event of a scoring crossing.

Yes, moreover the solution makes it possible to automatically deactivate the seller in this specific case.

An event / action engine allows different types of actions to be linked to events occurring on the platform. It is therefore possible to create an alert or deactivate a seller following certain events.

QUESTIONS RELATED TO THE PAYMENT SERVICE AND FEES:

All types of payment are possible: credit card (immediate payment, multiple payments (with or without fees), deferred payment), cheque, bank transfer, paypal, crypto currencies,… The marketplace operator is free to choose the payment method on the platform.

The platform will allow the marketplace operator to generate the sales report of its sellers with the possibility to edit the associated invoices.

A rule management is available to manage seller’s commissions. These can be calculated on the price of the products/services, on the number of lines of the order, on the total order including shipping costs, with no fixed costs,…

The different rules are aggregated into vendor profiles and can be assigned to different types of vendors.
